Arranging and attaching glass tesserae to panels

To attach the tiles to the panels, we spread silicone glue onto each piece and pressed it onto the glass. In order to try to eliminate bubbles under the pieces, we applied large amounts of glue which oozed out from under the tesserae and needed to be cut off once it had cured. Typically, we started with a single line of pieces which formed the edge of a structure and then worked inward to ensure a specific look to the pieces and keep consistent borders between the elements.
